Edition 1987
Here we go! For us, it has been for more than 6 months that we are working on this Festival. We could write pages and pages about the troubles we encountered while we were organizing it, the ulcers we got because we have ventured into the swamps of the 7th art and the jungle of the show-bizz. How many times have we not said to ourselves: now it’s over, this year we will stop… and then the festival starts, you are there… and with just a wave of magic wand you manage to make us forget the not so good moments and give us the energy to start again… And here we are again, transformed into adventurers of the lost ark, running in front of a ball that pushes us, faster and faster, on a road where various obstacles occur again and again. It is by means of this particular path that we present this catalog: a short historical background to celebrate this 5th edition of the Festival, the story of a ripeness which we hope you will appreciate: 32 movies showed in preview, 18 in retrospective, our 15th night of cinema, the guests, the entertainments and the exhibitions, the Vampire Ball and, as birthday cake, an extraordinary party at the Halles de Schaerbeek.
