Edition 1992
10 years of existence, it’s been a while. We could give you an absolutely insane number of the films we have showed during the Festival, a tedious list of the famous names that have honored our event by being there, or we could show you that this decade of ideas, discoveries and talents in abundance of the Festival has strongly influenced other events of the same kind, sometimes older than ours, in Belgium and abroad. We could describe you down to the last detail the 3350 nights of nightmares, joy, fear, and hope that we have lived through to set up this event. Or we could show you to what extent fantasy still inject some dynamism into the world of cinema in general. We could do all of this. But, in the end, we would just like to say thank you to everyone who has supported the Festival for the past 10 years, to everyone who has allowed us to make this event a gathering that proves that cinema is above all a party celebrated with friends, and more precisely friends of the 7th art. Thank you. The Festival in short : 60 previews and 8 previously unreleased movies (from 13 countries), 22 retrospectives, 5 world previews, 15 European, 14 movies in competition (from 7 countries), 23 short films in competition (from 10 countries) and ¾ of the movies are subtitled!
