1st Workshop “Brussels Fantastic”

With this initiative we want to give Belgian film students the opportunity to make a fantasy film. We want them to benefit from the experience of a famous director, who is world wide known in the fantasy genre. And of course we hope that maybe one of these students will follow in the footsteps of David Lynch, Roman Polanski and David Cronenberg!

The WORKSHOP will take place from 11 till 18 March 1996, in cooperation with the HRITC and the St.-Lukas Institute.

The famous Dutch director Dick Maas (De Lift, Amsterdamned, Flodder I, II and III) will assist 30 students during the making of their film.

The required material will be furnished by the film schools involved. The make-up of the actors will be taken care off by students of the Jean-Pierre Finotto make-up school. The technicians of Studio L’Equipe will be editing the film .

Monday 11: introduction class and adaptation of the scripts
Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13: shooting
Thursday 14 and Friday 15: post-production
Monday 18: evalution class and projection of the results at 18h30, in the Festival Bar
