Michele Soavi
Born in 1957 in Milano, the Italian director Michele Soavi approaches movies as an actor and screenwriter. In 1982, he helped out Argento on the set of “Tenebrae”, then Bava on “Blastfighter” in 1984. He was the first assistant on Argento’s “Phenoma” (1984) and on Bava’s “Demons” (1985, whose music videos he also directed). Finally, he directed “Dario Argento’s World of Horror” (1986) and “Aquarius” (1986, also named “Stage Fright” and “Bloody Bird”), two movies which will be screened during the festival.
