Nikki Bohm

Nikki Bohm is an Artist Auteur of avant-garde, horror/fantasy and macabre, born in Zagreb, Croatia and based in Los Angeles. She graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NY and starred in numerous eccentric leading roles in theater and film, including as warrior Macon in Zombie Flick “Road Wars”, criminal Gigi in thriller “Nobody Can Cool” and soldier PMS in the award winning futuristic Musical “Patty -The Revival”. Nikki wrote and directed avant-garde horror film “Ira” an Official Selection in Noves Visions at the 51st Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya, experimental horror short “Masho’s Descent” an Official Selection at the Garden City International Film Festival, wrote, produced and starred in avant-garde short film “Nothing Happened” premiering at Muestra Audiovisual Cine Sinú in Montería, Colombia and directed Sergio Castillo’s thought-provoking play “I Want To Kill Lena Dunham”. A ravenous Cinephile who regularly devours films of all types, Nikki also worked as Associate Programmer for the outrageous Film Maudit 2.0 Festival in LA, curated the 2020 LABRFF Official Selection of films and has been invited to the Jury of MIFFUS 2019, LABRFF 2019/2020 and LAMV in 2020. Her biggest directing influence comes from the great works of cinema legends Jan Švankmajer, Roman Polanski, David Lynch, Abel Ferrara and Peter Jackson, with her absolute favorite B-horror movie being René Cardona Jr.’s “The Night of a Thousand Cats”.
