ALICE, SWEET ALICE

Religious overtones run through this subtly chilling horror movie, telling the tale of a devout New Jersey family’s struggle to reveal the killer in their midst. After a young girl is brutally murdered during her first communion, her strange and withdrawn older sister, 12 year old Alice, becomes the main suspect. With shades of Nicolas Roeg´s ´Don´t Look Now´, and a gripping tension from start to finish, this is not an easy film to forget.
