What at first seems like the portrait of Kozo, an elderly extra in samurai movies, quickly shoots off in all directions, from mythical seagulls and prehistoric monsters to drug dealers and Steve McQueen. It’s a hilarious and heartfelt ode to the film industry full of absurd digressions and free associations.
