NELLY RAPP: MONSTER AGENT

Ten-year-old Nelly is a bit of a rebel and loves to scare the bejesus out of her classmates. As a result, she still doesn’t have real friends… To set her straight, her dad decides to send her on vacation to her uncle Hannibal. Which is probably the worst idea he ever had! Because, if on paper Hannibal’s gigantic mansion is the ideal place to play hide-and-seek or read by the fireside, in reality it is mainly a place full of secrets that Nelly will soon discover… You see, her uncle is actually a full-fledged monster agent, a guardian of the peace between humans and supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves, ghosts and other beasts with thick fur and long teeth. But lately they’ve gotten into the bad habit of popping up around the house a tad too often… NELLY RAPP: MONSTER AGENT, based on the eponymous children’s novel by Martin Widmark, is an exhilarating tale of innocuous horror perfectly tailored to kids, dynamically directed by Amanda Adolfsson and full of delightful dabs of humor. Suited for all kids (7+) who love to get a little scared – as long as mom, dad, grandma, grandpa or uncle Hannibal is sitting beside them -, who get a kick out of incredible adventures and who adore shivering with a Goosebumps book and a flashlight underneath their sheets in the evening!
