The virtuosity of Franz’s art is never more visible nor is it put to a better use than in the fantastic scenes which spice a priori historical and realistic stories. Hallucinations, nightmares, fits of delirium and other shaman «trips», drawn by Franz, are extremely convincing. As if he had lived them in another life, that of a Celtic worshipper of the goddess Epona.
