In the middle of a snowstorm that is paralyzing New York, a mysterious object containing an equally mysterious egg crashes into the window of an apartment building where young Charlotte lives. Ever since the birth of her little brother, she feels left aside, left to herself and her infinite boredom. Looking for a fun bit of mischief, she stumbles upon a spider who just crawled out of its egg. A gift from heaven! Sting – cause that’s what she calls the little bugger – quickly proves to be a worthwhile pastime. Not only can Sting sing – whenever she takes a breath, whenever she makes a move – he also has one hell of a growth curve. At the beginning satisfied with a couple of cockroaches, this little Tamagotchi on eight hairy legs is quickly going to leave its jar behind to explore other tastes it can find on its path, such as mice, rats, cats and dogs. And after digesting all of that, who knows what other, larger prey it’s going to want to hunt down…
