Karen De Paduwa

Karen de Paduwa joined the Brussels Conservatory in 1999, while accompanying her cousin. Spotted and supported by teachers Michel de Warzée and Yves Claessens, she graduated in 2002 with a first prize, no less! Since then, the actress has enjoyed a surprisingly eclectic career, alternating between theater, film and television (Le Grand cactus). In 2019, she performed her first one-woman show, NORMAL, at the Spa Royal Festival, in which she tells her story as Belgium’s first dwarf actress. Karen de Paduwa appreciates comedy, which she considers even more difficult than tragedy, especially Belgian comedy, “because they have the strength to laugh at themselves”!
