Alessio Liguori

Alessio Liguori graduated from DAMS as a director for cinema and TV and before moving to film production, he directed numerous commercials, short films and music videos. His first film was IN THE TRAP, a psychological horror with an international cast including David Bailie (PIRATES OF CARIBBEAN). This film was sold in over 40 countries, enjoying great success with the audiences. His second film, SHORTCUT recalls the spirit of the eighties, combining past cults like GOONIES with modern ones like STRANGER THINGS. The director then tries his hand at the first completely Italian production directing a thriller nammed THE BOAT. This is followed by another film with an international cast, BLACK BITS, a sci fi thriller which is currently in post-production. The director’s fifth film, currently in production, is THE LEGENDARY JOURNEY, an ambitious fantasy production. The film starring the couple of YouTubers Erick and Dominick, is based on the same book and is set in the worlds of Camelot, Atlantis and the Kingdom of Diamond.
