BROKEN BIRD (2025)

Imagine Amélie Poulain in the Upside Down, with her whimsical antics twisted into a darkly grotesque mirror reflection and you come pretty close to the state of mind our broken birdie Sybil’s at. Socially awkward and emotionally scarred after both of her parents perished in a car accent when she was a little girl, she generally prefers the company of the dead that she tends to at the morgue. There, and in the lines of her morbid poetry, she finds comfort… but she’d also like to do so in the arms of a man, preferably of the living kind. That’s when she takes a fancy to museum curator cutie Mark, but her vivid imagination is quickly going to spiral out of control and vivisect any chance of romance – in the ordinary sense of the word anyway. Here’s where her poetic license comes into play…
