FURY (2025)

At a New Year’s party with her friends, Alexandra is raped in an adjacent room in the darkness. Shattered, and without knowing who her assailant was, she leaves the party – not wanting to talk to anyone. Except to her brother Adrian, who consumed by rage sets out on an ever-maddening path of revenge, while Alexandra closes herself off from the outside world. She only seems to find refuge in the theater, where she blends into the role of Medea, the despairing mother in the Greek tragedy who killed her own children… And a tragedy it is, of people eaten up from the inside by grief, (self-)loathing and yes, fury! Gemma Blasco’s second feature is an emotional, techno-driven uppercut led by Ángela Cervantes’ powerhouse performance!
