CALIFORNIA KING (2025)

Perry, a bedding manager in a small Californian town, is desperate to impress the girl of his dreams. So his best pal comes up with a certified waterproof plan: stage a kidnapping of his sweetheart’s little brother, rescue said brother and win over her sweet little heart. Problem is: when two idiots are convinced they have a genius plan, it never goes according to plan… World premiere of Eli Stern’s debut feature, a black-comedy gem with a cunning script, a funky soundtrack and a great cast, including rapper Travis Bennett (member of the OFWGKTA collective alongside Tyler, the Creater, Earl Sweatshirt, Syd and Frank Ocean!), singer Victoria Justice and Joel “Community” McHale!
