100 NIGHTS OF HERO (2026)

In an alternate universe that closely resembles 17th-century England, people worship the Bird God, women are not allowed to read, and it is their duty to produce heirs. The gentle Cherry has the misfortune that her husband is not attracted to women, which means that the blame for not having a child will fall entirely on her. Her husband has a solution for this. He goes on a long trip and leaves her behind with his handsome friend Manfred. Cherry devises a plan with her best friend and maid Hero to tell a story whenever she wants to escape Manfred’s not-so-subtle advances. Julia Jackman’s enchanting feminist fairy tale 100 NIGHTS OF HERO is a tribute to the power of storytelling with an awesome cast, led by Emma Corrin, Maika Monroe, and Charli XCX.
