YESTERDAY ISLAND (2026)

It’s nearly midnight, and Amos is about to hit the sheets. Suddenly the phone rings, and a blast from the past asks him for a big favor. The caller is on a remote island where he mans a science station. And he urgently needs someone to take his place for a day. Do you smell something fishy? You’re absolutely right! Because once there, our helpful Amos discovers that on Yesterday Island, “one day” is a very elastic concept. Director Sam Voutas was clearly taking notes during that screening of GROUNDHOG DAY, and he doesn’t need a Bill Murray to whip up a story full of suspense and dry humor. If you want to know exactly what “un arroz con mango” means, book a one-way ticket to Yesterday Island!
