34th International Body Painting Contest

The BIFFF and bodypainting, that’s a love story that has been going on for more than 30 years! To celebrate this, we are this year changing the formula, and launching a call for projects to organize an open bodypainting stage (please note that this is not a competition). The objective of this initiative is to allow artists to perform **live** in front of the festival audience on a stage at the heart of the BIFFF Village in Brussels Expo’s Palais 10, thus sharing their passion for the art of bodypainting! To participate, here are the steps: Recruitment of artists: We invite professional or amateur artists to submit their applications by presenting examples of their work, as well as an idea for a project for BIFFF 2023! Selection of artists: A BIFFF selection committee will identify the artists who will get to participate in the open stage of this edition! Those selected will be notified by email. Come to the festival: on the agreed date with your own materials and model, and live the reactions of our audience, as well as the amazed look in their eyes! (We provide the stage, lighting and heaters for the artists and their models). So, we are inviting artists who are passionate about the art of bodypainting to submit their applications (short description, drawings or photos (optional), and the dates available during the festival (11 > 23 April 2023) before the deadline (01/04/2023) to the email address makeup@bifff.net.
