Writing a short genre story in the ideal setting of the BIFFF, with a ticket to go see a film after the writing workshop thrown in… That’s an offer you simply can’t refuse!
Impulsion invites you to come and write a short story based on simple, fun instructions that contain a link to a film that is programmed at the festival.
Introducing characters as you see fit; writing on the basis of an imposed setting, a news item, or a pitch; or even thinking up the prequel to an existing story… These are all challenges that will inspire you… or not!

Wednesday, April 10, 6:30 p.m., writing a fictional story in connection with the 9:30 p.m. film in CINE 1.
Thursday, April 11, 6:30 p.m., writing a fictional story in connection with the 9:30 p.m. film in CINE 1
Friday, April 12, 6:30 p.m., writing a fictional story about the 9:30 p.m. film in CINE 1
Monday, April 15, 2pm, writing a fictional story about the 7pm film in CINE 1
Thursday, April 18, 2 p.m., writing a fictional story about the 7p.m. film in CINE 1

You’ll have the opportunity to submit your story to the BIFFF-Impulsion contest. Winners will receive a KAYAK Pass valid for BIFFF 2025!
