Winner Art Contest

As a multidisciplinary artist, my work is inspired by themes of identity, hybridity and fantasy. My work explores areas where utopia, science fiction, myths and legends come together, while questioning the role of humans in massive and complex environments. Using a variety of media such as painting, sculpture and installation, I seek to convey visual narratives that confront the viewer with existential and societal questions.

For BIFFF 2025, I’m presenting an original series of five canvases centred on the metro, a hybrid space par excellence, at the crossroads of the intimate and the collective, the real and the symbolic. Each canvas plunges into a fantastic vision of the metro, transforming this everyday place into a universe where light and darkness, dreams and nightmares intersect.

Through dense textures and contrasting colours, these works explore the metro as a microcosm of urban identity, a space of transit where the anonymous become mythical silhouettes and the architecture becomes charged with human emotion. Inspired by the sounds, movements and social dynamics specific to this place, this work invites us to rethink the metro not just as a functional space, but as a theatre where countless scenes are played out.
