Anouar Moatassim

He is a Belgian director, screenwriter and producer of Moroccan origin. We welcome him to the BIFFF for the presentation of ATOMAN, the first Moroccan superhero film, which he directed! According to him, ‘it was about time’ that North Africa had a film of this kind. Atoman, which means ‘man of the wind’, is inspired by Morocco’s heritage. Anouar Moatassim is also known for television series such as LES 1001 NUITS, LA MARCHE VERTE, TARIK IBNOU ZYAD, #CODE, REZO, SA3A and many others.
