Do you remember the iconic quote “Fuck, two years!” from Jacques Chirac’s latex body double? This among French speakers famous line, which earned him a tax audit (and we wonder why), actually conceals the provocative spirit of actor, director and screenwriter Benoît Delépine. This virtuoso of the absurd has left his mark on “Les Guignols de l’info” and co-created the Canal + series, Groland, in which he plays Michael Kael, a Grolandian-Angoumoisin inspector. Gustav Kervern, after a brief foray into radio, met Benoît Delépine on the set of the show in 1999, giving birth to a flourishing creative collaboration. In 2004, the duo launched their career as directors with the success of the film AALTRA. From Cannes to Berlin, these two artists have toured numerous festivals, winning a number of awards in the process, notably for their recent film DELETE HISTORY.
