DE L’AUTRE CÔTÉ DU CIEL (2024)

The incredible story of friendship between a young chimney sweep, Lubicchi, and Poupelle,
a strange creature made of trash. A tale full of hope
that takes us beyond pessimism. Chimney Town is a city
without a sky—a dirty, fog-shrouded industrial hell. The city’s
chimneys never stop spewing smoke and soot, obscuring the sky
and the landscape. Poupelle reminds us to always believe in our dreams.
In addition to telling us about the frightening Unknown, the film reminds us
that we must look beyond the grime and smoke to discover
new, more beautiful horizons.
We’re so caught up in the pollution that we no longer lift our heads
to take action and go beyond our dreams.
