After a particularly bitter divorce battle, Alicia decides to make a fresh start with her daughter Carla. Because they have no money, they must settle for a somewhat run-down house. But the place has character and the neighbor is charming, even though she refuses to cross the threshold of their home. She even brought a Bible as a gift and wished them good luck. Little Carla can’t wait to explore the house and finds a creaking attic full of old trinkets, where she is particularly drawn to a blue dress… This second feature by Jacob Santana inevitably evokes classic horror, with its dose of mystery, possession and haunted houses, all drenched in a touch of Gothic. But make no mistake: one film can hide another. And when it comes to that, this devilish dress makes for a true masterpiece!
