GET AWAY (2025)

The Smith family is on a trip to the land of ABBA and IKEA, heading for the remote island of Svälta to attend the Karantän, an old local tradition that emotionally celebrates English settlers, murders and cannibalism. The location is bucolic, the chalet they’ve rented actually looks like the pictures on the website, but the locals are as cordial as a glasstårta. So much for the welcome drink, but there are plenty of other surprises in store… Laaaadies and gentlemen, the screenplay is by Nick Frost (SHAUN OF THE DEAD). The man behind the camera is Steffen Haars (KRAZY HOUSE). And what do these two cheeky rascals come up with? A delirious and joyfully bloody punk version of MIDSOMMAR!
