THE FORBIDDEN CITY (2026)

The Forbidden City is a Chinese restaurant in Rome. But behind its façade of hotpots and dumplings lies a criminal empire of drugs, prostitution, and human trafficking. When the Madam is inspecting a fresh batch of girls, one of them stands out by knocking out anyone who gets in her way with lightning-fast kung fu moves. Mei is looking for her sister Yun, a victim of the prostitution network. The trail leads to an Italian family restaurant. To her surprise, she discovers that Yun ran away with the father of Marcello, the cook. Mei and Marcello set out together to find the runaway couple. But their search threatens to blow up the fragile peace between the Chinese triads and the Roman mafia into an all-out war. After JEEG ROBOT and FREAKS OUT, Gabriele Mainetti strikes again with this unique Kung Fu Spaghetti Western.
