THE THING WITH FEATHERS (2025)

A graphic artist buries his wife. She died suddenly and unexpectedly. Now he must take care of his two young sons all by himself. But his wife’s absence leaves an infinitely deep hole in their lives. The pressure to try to raise his boys the best he can and deal with his immeasurable grief is too great. Time seems unable to heal his wounds. But perhaps the monstrously large talking crow will. Is he just a manifestation of his pain, a mere fickle of his imagination or something far, far worse? Benedict Cumberbatch (SHERLOCK HOLMES, DR. STRANGE) shines in this dark and melancholy fantasy drama by Dylan Southern, a viewing experience that will make you shudder and shed fountains of tears.
