THE UNRIGHTEOUS (2025)

Already staving off the forces of gentrification, the embattled citizens in a slightly run-down part of Busan, South Korea’s second-biggest city, now have to deal with a shady religious cult. Hiding behind the mask of sanctimony, dangling miraculous healings and other wonders in front of the gullible inhabitants, the cult tries to finagle the residents’ property deeds. Juhyeon, a dead honest real estate agent (yes, they do exist!) tries his damnedest to thwart the sect’s plan and save the locals. They, however, are their own worst enemy in their ROSEMARY’S BABY-esque acquiescence. You’d become an atheist for less!
