TRISTES TROPIQUES (2026)

At an age when they should really be playing with Lego bricks, a group of children trains seven days a week in the tropical jungle to become the world’s most dangerous killers: the “Tristes Tropiques.” Years later, they are scattered across Asia. An unprecedentedly brutal event begins to undermine their secret clan. Mutual distrust, existential betrayal, bloody revenge; the Tristes Tropiques will spare no one or even each other. After all, they can’t help it. They were trained to kill. Just imagine: THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS filmed like THE RAID or JOHN WICK in the style of Wong Kar-wai. That should give you an idea of this mind-blowing trip by Park Hoon-jung, director of THE WITCH PART I & II and NEW WORLD, and screenwriter of I SAW THE DEVIL.
